Land at Ash Manor, Tongham

Taylor Wimpey Strategic Land is preparing to submit a planning application for residential development of land at Ash Green Lane West, Tongham and wants to find out the views of local people before doing so.

The land lies behind existing residential development on Manor Road and is a single field measuring about 2.2 hectares. It is classified in policy terms as countryside beyond the Green Belt.

The site could accommodate between 50 and 65 homes, including both market and affordable housing. Improvements would be made to the short section of Ash Green Lane West giving access to the site. Taylor Wimpey have drawn up an illustrative masterplan to show what development on the site could look like.

A Public Exhibition was held at Tongham Community Centre, on Poyle Road on Friday 24th February 2012 from 2pm – 8pm. The boards displayed at the exhibition are available here.
