Acting on behalf of Linden London Developments, Boyer Planning obtained planning permission in November 2008 for the residential redevelopment of a vacant office building in Hammersmith, subject to the completion of an s106 agreement.
The development, within the Bradmore conservation area, provided a total of 67 one, two and three bedroom flats. The final scheme, designed by Corstorphine & Wright Architects, was a contemporary design which made a positive contribution to the character and appearance of the conservation area, taking into account the site's characteristics and comments made during the consultation process.
Boyer Planning was involved in the extensive pre- and post-application discussions with planning officers, as well as the public consultation exercise. We were also responsible for the joint preparation of the planning and design statement, the review of the other supporting documents, providing advice on specialist areas including affordable housing provision, loss of employment use and sustainability, and the collation and submission of the planning application.
