Raymond
Ricks joined Boyer Planning in June 1988 as a Senior Planner.
At that time Boyer Planning formed part of a multi-disciplinary
practice and became an independent planning consultancy in 1990
when Raymond was appointed as a Director. He continues to hold
that post and is based at the Company's Colchester Office.
He holds a Diploma in Town Planning and is a Member of the Royal
Town Planning Institute.
He has been engaged in planning since 1972 starting in the Planning
Department at Essex County Council before moving to Chelmsford
Borough Council and then to Tendring District Council before joining
Boyer Planning.
Raymond has a broad range of planning experience and has established
a strong client base ranging from multi-national companies through
to individual smaller clients. Such clients are engaged in a range
of work from both residential and commercial.
Raymond works principally across East Anglia, south-east England
and the Midlands.
He is currently involved in a range of projects throughout these
Regions including major urban expansion proposals at Chelmsford
and Kent and is also involved in a rural regeneration scheme relating
to a redundant large employment site in Suffolk.
He is currently advising on major healthcare related facilities
in Shrewsbury, Doncaster, Southend and Worcestershire.
