Feasibility
Studies
Boyer Planning is able to provide clients
with an early assessment of the development capacity of a
site based upon detailed site appraisal and other specialist
inputs as appropriate, e.g. in respect of highways or ecology.
Such a study may provide a useful basis for preliminary assessments
of financial viability, or for discussions with local authority
officers.
Masterplans
We prepare masterplans for individual
sites as well as major development areas, illustrating the
intended pattern of land uses and other development principles.
These plans are prepared in AutoCAD format.
Development Briefs
Local authorities often require development
briefs for complex or large sites, bringing together the results
of site analysis, key constraints, design principles, indicative
proposals and other requirements. As planning consultants
we are best placed to bring together the ingredients needed
to prepare a development brief, leading the necessary discussions
with local authorities and agreeing the approach to public
consultation.
Project Co-Ordination
The role of the planner,
at the heart of the project, provides us with the unique ability
to act as co-ordinators of the project team. We can advise
clients on the appointment of consultants in other specialist
fields, and act as project managers - driving forward the
strategy, advising on tactics and ensuring that timescales
are maintained. |
