07th December 2016
By Satvinder Hothi

Romans and Boyer hosted a follow up of the extremely popular Brexit Breakfast Seminar on 7th December. This second run through was designed to provide an opportunity for those who were unable to attend the October event, as well as provide an updated on developments since the last presentation.

The morning commenced with breakfast and an opportunity to network, with key figures from the industry who attended from across the Thames Valley. There followed a series of excellent presentations;

Jason Farrimond provided an overview of the residential market and his predictions for 2017; Simon Brooksbank discussed the political dimensions leading up to Brexit as well as likely impact on the Thames Valley region; and Michelle Thomson covered a range of relevant planning topics, including Neighbourhood Plans and Starter Homes.

The feedback from those clients attending was extremely positive, with one individual pronouncing, “I’m really pleased that I attended this event today, the presentations were very useful and I will be reporting back to the office”

We are already planning the next Breakfast seminar for Spring 2017 which will likely be focused on the much anticipated Government White Paper, as well as developments following the likely triggering of Article 50.
