On Friday 28 June 2019, Boyer entered three athletes into the annual JLL Property Triathlon. Adam Wilkinson and Rachel White took part in the triathlon and Ben Pope took part in the duathlon.

It was a beautiful day with temperatures topping 22 degrees but this didn’t stop the competitors from giving it their all and racing round the course. The triathlon comprised a 750m open water swim in Dorney Lake, followed by a 21km cycle around the Lake and finished with a 5km run with the duathlon comprising a 5km run, followed by a 21km cycle around Lake finishing off with another 2.5km run.

Rachel White took off like a salmon in the swim finishing with an impressive time of 14min 18sec. Rachel carried this momentum through the cycle and the run finishing with an impressive time of 1hr 27min 43sec.

Adam Wilkinson had a slower start to the swim, although made up time through the cycle and the run, finishing with a total time of 1hr 54min.

Self-confessed non-swimmer Ben Pope managed to remain dry during the duathlon posting respectable times in the runs and cycle, ending up with a total time of 1hr 23min 03sec.

Despite the heat, all three competitors posted impressive times and enjoyed participating in a superbly organised and well-run event.

It was a fantastic day of sporting achievements and raising money for charity and we look forward to entering more teams into the event next year.
