Boyer has worked collaboratively with Berkeley Homes (Eastern Counties) and EPR Architects to secure a resolution to grant planning permission from LB Lewisham for 30 new residential units with the Blackheath Conservation Area. The proposals involve redevelopment of a BMW showroom and service centre site within a predominantly residential area to provide a boutique BMW showroom, 20 apartments and 10 townhouses within landscaped amenity space.

The proposals were subject to extensive consultation with the Local Planning Authority, residents, and local amenity groups with the proximity of the site to the heritage assets, including the Grade II* St Margaret’s Church on Lee Terrace, being a key issue for interested parties. The development will result in a high quality development on a site that currently has a negative impact on the character and appearance of the conservation area, including enhanced views to the adjacent churchyard.
