Heatherstone Grange, Bransgore, New Forest

Boyer Design were appointed as architects to produce a concept masterplan and detailed design for a sensitive green belt exception site on the edge of New Forest National Park. We submitted a full planning application and worked closely with our clients and the urban design officer at New Forest District Council to deliver a holistic and sensitive response to the site.

Heatherstone Grange is a new community set in the village of Bransgore in the New Forest district of Hampshire. The story starts with a focal building -
the ‘Grand House’ designed in the Queen Anne style with a woodland backdrop. The Grand House is complemented with a Gatehouse at the entrance of the
site. A tree lined approach though the Gatehouse and the green leads to the Grand House. The rest of the ‘estate’ buildings are designed in the Arts and Crafts architectural style.
