Land at Menehay, Falmouth, Cornwall

Boyer is instructed by Westcountry Land Ltd, to provide strategic planning services in respect of the promotion of land through the Cornwall Site Allocations DPD.  Land at Menehay provides for circa 220 dwellings and is subject to a live planning appeal. 

In support, Boyer’s Bristol office has submitted representations to the Regulation 19 Pre-Submission consultation version of the Cornwall Site Allocations DPD.  In our representations Boyer Bristol has set out detailed justification for the inclusion of land at Menehay as a strategic allocation. This has involved a critical review of the Council’s evidence base, including the Sustainability Appraisals, Site Selection process and the components of housing land supply, including the robustness of the proposed allocations proposed within the SADPD.
