Land off Field Close, Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor

Boyer obtained full planning permission on behalf of David Wilson Homes for the redevelopment of an existing riding centre at Land off Field Close, Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor, for 73 houses.

The revised application, submitted on behalf of David Wilson Homes Southern, had been completely re-designed in response to concerns raised by the Council during a previous application refused under delegated powers. This, along with a revised housing mix and the submission of a sewer impact study by Thames Water with the revised application, resulted in a positive recommendation from officers, with members voting 9-1 in favour of the application at committee.

The full planning application was submitted on the back of the Council’s continuing 5 year housing land supply deficit and is the second development that David Wilson Homes has had approved in the Village in recent years.
