Bridge Farm, Twyford

The project concerned a proposal for up to 200 dwellings, on a site that is identified for allocation in the emerging Local Plan.

Part of the site lies within Flood Zone 3b (a functional floodplain) and whilst the proposed residential development was situated outside of the affected area, the potential for cumulative impacts relating to flood risk needed consideration through a request for EIA Screening. The Council agreed that the effects of the proposals would be localised in their extent. The proposals were therefore determined not to be EIA development.
