Boyer acting on behalf of Thames Valley Housing Association, successfully obtained planning permission for the mixed use redevelopment of a key site in Horley town centre within Reigate and Banstead Borough Council.

The proposals involved the redevelopment of the Newman House site, a long term objective of the council, with a new 6 storey landmark building providing 90 new affordable flats together with 4 retail and restaurant units. The proposed affordable housing, the tenure and mix of which was supported by the Housing Officer, would make significant contribution towards meeting the Council’s priorities outlined within its Housing Strategy.

Boyer led the planning application submission and achieved a positive outcome within a challenging timescale which was necessary to ensure HCA funding for the scheme.
