Boyer has acted as planning consultants to achieve a planning permission for 149 residential units within a development of single-family dwellings and apartments in Fulham for the St James Group.

The proposals evolved over an extensive period including negotiations with Council officers and public consultation with local residents and interested parties. As a result of changes to policy during the scheme development and involvement from third parties, the scheme evolved in nature from a contemporary design to a more traditional series of buildings, which address the street and create permeability through the site as sought by the local community.

The implementation of the approved development is complicated by the phasing of vacant possession of each site and, therefore, our role included negotiating details of the planning conditions and the section 106 agreement to ensure that our client could implement the permission and complete elements of the development without committing to a building programme for the entire scheme.
