Boyer provided planning consultancy services to Avant Homes Central to support the preparation, submission, negotiation and positive determination of a Reserved Matters application for 250 new homes in Awsworth, Nottinghamshire.

The site is one of Broxtowe Borough Council’s Part 2 Local Plan allocated housing sites, for which Boyer have worked closely with the Avant and the wider consulting team to overcome significant remediation challenges relating to the past use of the site as an opencast coal mine.

The development has been designed to be landscape led and would feature significant amounts of green infrastructure and open space. Boyer are continuing to work with Avant and the Council to secure the discharge of conditions to enable development to commence on site.
