Boyer Midlands provided planning consultancy services to Richborough Estates, working part of a multi-disciplinary consulting team to support the preparation and submission of an outline planning application for 125 new homes in March, Fenland.

Our expert planning consultants undertook extensive and proactive engagement with officers at Fenland District Council and Cambridgeshire County Council, which assisted in persuading local Councillors of the Planning Committee that our proposals would deliver a high quality scheme that would contribute positively to the wider West of March strategic allocation.

The illustrative masterplan was prepared to be landscape led and to feature significant amounts of green infrastructure, SuDs and open space to deliver a biodiversity net-gain in excess of 10%. Boyer successfully negotiated with the LPA to deliver an appropriate level of infrastructure and S106 package commensurate with the LPA’s own viability position to ensure the development could be delivered in a commercially driven manner.
