On behalf of Taylor Wimpey, Vistry and LiveWest, Boyer was instructed to provide planning services to progress Orchard Grove, a unique new garden community of 2,000 homes, business park, a local centre and primary school set within two neighbourhoods and abundant green space. The site measures 118 ha (300 acres) and has Outline Planning Permission for a residential-led mixed use development for 2,000 homes. The site is located to the south west of Taunton, and was previously in agricultural use. The site has been allocated as an urban extension to Taunton in the council's Local Plan since 2012.
