Boyer were instructed by Shanly Homes to appeal against Bracknell Forest Council’s decision to refuse planning permission for 81 homes (60 houses and 21 apartments) on the edge of Bracknell. Boyer led the public inquiry, including preparing the Instructions to Counsel, Statement of Case, Statement of Common Ground, Planning Proof of Evidence and gave planning evidence at the public inquiry. Boyer successfully demonstrated that there would be no material harm to the character and appearance of the site and its surroundings and that it would form an appropriate transitional form of development.
