Boyer Continues to Support Southwark Foodbank
In August, Boyer’s London Office organised a toiletries collection on behalf of Southwark Foodbank, collecting a large amount of toiletries to help support Foodbank and its clients.
Overall the team collected 18.3 kg of toiletries which will be distributed alongside food packages to some of the most disadvantaged people in London.
The Southwark Foodbank is working to tackle poverty and hunger in our local communities and is in desperate need of additional food supplies following an increase in demand of almost 1,000 people last year. This meant that Southwark Foodbank alone fed close to 6,000 people purely from donated food and fundraising. The charity relies solely on financial and physical donations to ensure their warehouse is sufficiently stocked to allow those in need of food support to have access to the parcels.
