Boyer Volunteer's at Southwark Foodbank

They took part in a successful Supermarket collection at the Surrey Quay’s Tesco where the collection amounted to 288kg on the day, and the overall collection netted 473 kg. The following week colleagues from Boyer were also able to help at the warehouse in Peckham sorting through the produce that was collected.

Boyer’s London Office are long term partners with the Southwark Foodbank, who are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, who work to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. The Southwark Food Bank is made up of five centres around Southwark, working with local community groups and churches to help address the need for emergency food provision in our area. The Foodbank provide three day’s nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people.
