Creating Communities Together: LRG and Berkeley Homes Bring Spring Hill Village to Life
At LRG, we know that exceptional places are created through collaboration, creativity and a shared commitment to quality. Spring Hill village in Maidenhead is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when those values come together, bringing to life a vibrant new community designed for generations to come.
Delivered in partnership with Berkeley Homes Oxford and Chiltern, Spring Hill Village provides 199 new homes, including 60 affordable units, with a range of properties from one-bedroom apartments to spacious four and five-bedroom family homes.
The development has brought together expertise from across LRG, with teams from Boyer, Boyer Design and LRG New Homes all playing an important role in helping to shape and deliver the exciting new neighbourhood.
Planning for the Future
Boyer was appointed by Berkeley Homes in 2021 to support the planning process for Spring Hill. Working closely with the local authority, the team helped refine the proposals to create a scheme that balances much-needed housing with high-quality placemaking, infrastructure improvements and environmental enhancements.
The granting of planning permission in 2024 marked a significant milestone, paving the way for a thriving new neighbourhood that has been carefully designed to stand the test of time.
Creating a Strong Sense of Place
Berkeley Homes also appointed Boyer Design to develop the architectural and placemaking vision for Spring Hill Village.
Centered around a new village green, the development has been thoughtfully designed to encourage community connections while taking inspiration from the character of Maidenhead and the surrounding villages. Individually designed homes, carefully considered detailing and beautifully landscaped spaces all contribute to creating a place with distinctive identity and a genuine sense of belonging.

Today, the successful partnership continues through the LRG New Homes team, who are supporting the sales journey and working closely with Berkeley Homes on site.
