Another Successful Boyer Christmas Initiative!

Our regional offices collected donations and items to create Christmas gift bags for children who would be using the foodbanks over the festive season. A digital gift list was created and shared online allowing friends, family, clients and contacts within the industry to donate to our Christmas appeal. Everyone participating was incredibly generous and we were able to create 300 present bags to distribute with food deliveries and raised over £150 to support the Trussell Trust’s ongoing work. In order to make the gift bags appropriate for all children using the foodbanks, they included a range of toys, books and puzzles and those donating could choose what to include within their gift bag.

Unfortunately the reliance on foodbanks across the country increased throughout the last year and over 100 families were registered with each regional foodbank over the Christmas holidays. Despite the current circumstances, the Trussell Trust continues to provide unwavering support for these families and we are looking forward to continuing our relationship throughout 2021.
