Boyer secures delivery of additional 185 new homes in West London
Boyer London has successfully secured planning permission for an additional 185 new homes as part of the White City Living development in West London.
The original permission, also secured by Boyer, allowed the delivery of 1,465 new homes with a range of residents’ facilities including spa rooms, business lounge, meeting rooms, 17 metre indoor pool with adjoining sun terrace, health club, gym, personal training rooms, cinema rooms, café and landscaped gardens.
The section 73 application sought amendments to the vertical and horizontal parameter plans, changes to the design codes and an increase in the unit numbers and floorspace, optimising Phases 4 and 5 of the White City Living Masterplan. This permission enables the delivery of up to 2,030 homes on the site. This includes the delivery of housing and affordable housing and makes a significant contribution towards Hammersmith and Fulham’s housing (including affordable) targets.
We advised St James that the increase in homes could be considered as part of a Section 73 application, with the layout and arrangement of units to be determined by future Reserved Matters applications.
Our advice and well-established relationship with St. James and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham ensured a successful outcome. We are currently working with St James on the next stage of Reserved Matters for Phase 4.
