Reserved Matters approval for the District Centre at Arborfield Green
We are delighted to announce that Boyer has secured Reserved Matters approval on behalf of Crest Nicholson for the District Centre at Arborfield Green.
The application secured unanimous approval from Wokingham Borough Council’s Planning Committee.
The new District Centre will serve the Arborfield Green Strategic Development Location and will include a new high street with 18 commercial units, a mixed use community centre with cafe, library and day nursery, a separate early years facility, a supermarket, a public house, 206 dwellings and substantial public open space including a cascading water feature and bespoke public art.
Lucy Anderson, Associate Director in Boyer’s Wokingham office said, “We are pleased to have supported Crest Nicholson and the project team in securing this positive outcome which will result in the delivery of new facilities and services on this important strategic site for Wokingham Borough”.
In achieving planning success, Boyer worked alongside Pegasus Group (architects), i-Transport (highways) AECOM (drainage, ecology and engineering), SJAtrees (trees) and Murdoch Wickham (landscape).
