Volunteering Day Out

The team enjoyed picking and packing gifts for children and their parents who otherwise would have no presents on Christmas Day. Part of the team also worked in the foodbank area, where food essentials were also gifted, alongside the toys, books, clothes and toiletries. Some of the presents had been donated by the Trust from money the Midlands office raised for them throughout the year and it was uplifting to see what a difference this will make this at Christmas for over 100 families. Seeing food parcels and gift bags all lined up to be delivered by social workers was a humbling experience. It does make you think about all the things we take for granted and just how very lucky most of us are.
