The East Hill

The proposal, designed by KLA involves the modernisation of the public house at basement and ground floor levels and the conversion of the upper floors to provide eight self-contained high quality zero carbon residential units (five x studio, two x 1-bed 2-person flat, and one x 2-bed 3-person flat).

The site is situated within the Wandsworth Town Conservation Area and is a locally listed building and the property forms a prominent corner plot. Wandsworth acknowledged the well-designed scheme by KLA Architects which would conserve the character of the locally listed building and the setting of the conservation area.

This follows other recent successes in Southwark, Lambeth and Newham for conversion of the upper floors of pubs to residential use for our client Wellington Pub Company. We look forward to continued success in unlocking the potential of these sites to deliver much needed new housing.

We are delighted to have secured consent and look forward to seeing the completed scheme. Boyer are involved in numerous sites for the Wellington Pub Company throughout London and the rest of the country seeking to maximise the value of their assets.
