Boyer supported Bewley in preparing the planning application and gave expert evidence as part of the Public Inquiry.

The Inquiry focused primarily on highway safety and the character and appearance of the development. In allowing the appeal, the Inspector agreed with the team that the proposed density and layout was an appropriate form of development for the edge of settlement site, and that the proposed junction arrangement would operate safely.

The Inspector also found that the proposals would significantly contribute towards the Government’s objective of significantly boosting the supply of homes and helping to meet local housing needs.
