Planning Reform Is Law - Now It Has to Work
The Planning and Infrastructure Bill has now passed into law.
Commenting on the Planning and Infrastructure Act, Lawrence Turner, Director, Boyer said:
“We support the Planning and Infrastructure Act and its aim to remove blockages and speed up planning decisions, whether through the Nature Restoration Fund, CPO reform, proper strategic planning, or a national scheme of delegation and mandatory member training. The focus now must be on delivery. The regulations must be clear and workable, and councils properly resourced, otherwise uncertainty and delay simply get baked back into the system.”
