Plaistow Lane, Bromley

The consent followed a refusal for 9 units on the site which was refused by the Council on the ground of inadequate car parking (6 spaces for 9 units) in November 2018. Following the refusal, we were instructed by our client to submit an appeal and submit a revised application to comprise 10 flats with 1:1 parking provision.

During the Council’s consideration of the application, the appeal was allowed with the Inspector confirming that the proposed parking provision was acceptable and would not harm the surrounding highways network. This decision formed a material consideration and the Council was obliged to accept the Inspector’s findings with the 10 unit scheme being approved, unanimously, by LB Bromley committee. We are excited to see this site coming forward for development following a chequered history and we look forward to continuing our working relationship with Sirca. Ltd and to handling more projects in the London Borough of Bromley.
