Grant Leggett

Director, Head of Boyer London

Grant leads Boyer’s London office, which he has been a part of since it opened in 2011.  In that time he has overseen the growth of the office from its original two foundation staff to a team of over 14.

He also brings a wealth of experience in developments of all scales, from bespoke and small-scale high-value developments to medium- and large-scale regeneration projects throughout London.  Grant has commanding experience in residential development, student housing, education and community projects, and commercial developments.

Grant is committed to the success of his clients and his team.  He is passionate about creating a positive can-do working environment and attitude at Boyer London.

EDUCATION

Hall School

Boyer successfully secured planning permission from the London Borough of Camden for proposals at The Hall School.

RESIDENTIAL

Gresham Road, Brixton

Boyer was appointed by Taylor Wimpey to advise on the residential-led redevelopment of a former coach depot in Brixton, Lambeth.

RESIDENTIAL

Pocket Living in Wanstead

Boyer has been successful at securing a resolution to grant planning permission, subject to s106, on behalf of Pocket Living from the London Borough of Redbridge for a residential development comprising 20 Pocket homes on land at Gardener Close, Wanstead.

RESIDENTIAL

Pocket Living in Walthamstow

Boyer has been successful in securing a unanimous resolution to grant planning permission, subject to s106, from the London Borough of Waltham Forest planning committee.

MIXED-USE-REDEVELOPMENT

Oval Gas Works, London

In 2018, Boyer's London office successfully secured planning permission and Listed Building Consent from the London Borough of Lambeth for the redevelopment of the internationally recognised Oval Gas Works site adjacent to the Kia Oval.

RESIDENTIAL

The Corniche, Albert Embankment

Boyer began working with St James Group to assist in their acquisition of the Hampton House site in 2012. After reviewing the implications of existing and implemented planning permissions for the redevelopment of the site, the acquisition was a success.

Pocket

Boyer has been working with Pocket since 2012 when they embarked on the first round of site acquisitions to fulfil their obligations under the Mayor of London’s Housing Covenant.

Westbury Estate (Phase 1)

On behalf of our client St. James, Boyer’s London Office has successfully secured a resolution to grant planning permission from the London Borough of Lambeth’s Planning Applications Committee. The Committee’s decision allows for the redevelopment of land at Westbury Estate (Phase 1) to provide 64 social rented homes.
