Egley Road, Woking
Boyer's Wokingham office are delighted to have secured a resolution to grant full planning permission on an allocated site off Egley Road in Woking; for a high quality and landscape-led development, comprising 86 new homes and a 62-bed specialist dementia care home.
Following pre-application engagement and three Design Review Panels, Boyer worked closely with the applicant’s design team and the Councils Officers, paying particular attention to the sites sensitive landscape and the local community, to ensure any initial concerns were addressed. Framed around a large new community green in the centre, with extensive new landscaping throughout, the scheme will see the delivery of a wide mix of much needed new homes, including 50% on-site affordable housing provision, and a new care home to address an identified specialist need.
