Matt is a Director, and Head of Boyer East, leading a great team engaged in a broad range of projects across the East of England. Matt has over 26 years’ planning experience, having started his career in local government, across a range of planning roles at St Edmundsbury, Chelmsford and Ipswich Borough Councils, before moving to the private sector. Joining Boyer as a Planner in 2003, Matt became a Director in 2011, and works with energy and enthusiasm to deliver significant scale mixed use developments, regeneration proposals, commercial, residential and renewable energy projects, including new settlements and urban extensions.

Boyer have submitted a planning and listed building application to Ipswich Borough Council for new residential development to fund the construction and replacement of the school’s boarding accommodation.

Boyer have been successful in guiding proposals for a strategic urban extension to Harlow through all stages of the planning process from local plan promotion through to the discharge of conditions, with relevant variations along the way.

Boyer’s Colchester Office and Boyer Design supported Bloor Homes Eastern with an outline planning application for their site to the East of Bury Road in Stanton, Suffolk.

Boyer have submitted a s73 application to Tendring District Council for 200 dwellings on part of a wider mixed use site at Clacton on Sea.
